Paul Simmons has played trumpet with the CSO since 1994. He has a Masters degree in conducting and performance from Sacramento State University and regularly plays, conducts and organizes concerts throughout the Sacramento area. He is a founding member of Curvd Aire and co-founder of Lifting the Veil.

Paul also helps manage a number of nonprofit associations in California.
